I have written about Douglas’ graduation from nursing school
before. You can read about it here.
Although he completed his course work last November (and has
been working at the St. Mary Kevin Orphanage medical clinic ever since) he had
not yet experienced the thrill of donning robe and mortarboard and celebrating
his graduation in the typical way. Because of the high cost of graduation
ceremonies, most post-graduate schools in Uganda host the elaborate graduation
ceremony only once every 2 -3 years.
So, here is Douglas. Finally celebrating. Beaming, confident
and handsome.
Change the Truth’s first success story!
