readers for readers
There are several children at the orphanage who have issues with their vision. Few of them have ever had the luxury of sitting down in an opthamologist's office. You just don't see any of the kids at SMK wearing glasses.
Those who do have trouble reading, though, will benefit from the donation of glasses I just received from Leon, the owner of Kansas City's Brookside Optical shops.
I'll be taking the 30 pairs of readers with me when I head to Uganda. Just imagine the looks on the faces of the young people who have, up until now, only seen blurry words on the pages of their schoolbooks!
Thanks, Leon. You're a good one.
