Lily Myers performed this piece for Wesleyan University at the 2013 College Unions Poetry Slam invitational. It was awarded Best Love Poem at the tournament. It went viral this past fall, thanks to a post on Upworthy entitled "Watch a Student Totally Nail Something About Women That I've Been trying to Articulate for 37 Years."
