and… we’re off!

The Kansas City contingency of the Change the Truth trip to Uganda gathered today at the airport and boarded the first of their four flights to Entebbe. We should arrive in twenty-four hours! Hopefully all of our bags will, as well. Cheers!

  5. Know that we are thinking of you and following along from here in Kaz. We are so anxious to see how the children respond to the art - it is such a wonderful gift you are bringing. All the best. Take Care.

  6. Hi my friend....
Very stranage thing today. My undergraduate class ( the IUE) showed their social acitivist projectsin class today. One particular group showed work they did for chidlren in Uganda---it was a wonderful presentation ( it documented their work through photographs). And so, of course I had to tell them what you were doing , but had not yet mentioned your name. One student said, "Is her name Gloria---Gloria Feintstein or something??" Well, I had to tell her yes because in fact, it was you! Her parents adopted a child from one of the orphanges you visited .She was a the "banquet" you had at your house when someone visited from the orphanage. Her name is MacKenzie Higgins----great student
    ---great person.

    Be safe!

    Cheryl
