love note chain

When Eddie and I were on the beach yesterday, we wrote a message in the sand, took a picture of it with the cell phone and then texted it to Abbie, Sam and Max.

Within a couple minutes, we received this from Max. He was in the library (in Boston).

After a few more minutes, we got this from Sam, who was at work (he's a clerk for a judge in New Orleans).

Then, we heard from Mama Abbie, who sent this happy shot of Clara.

It was a quick, fun chain of text messages that brought our family close together - even if only virtually.
