Not much sleep for me last night; too many butterflies flitting around in my stomach.
My own flying will begin early this afternoon. I will land in Entebbe about twenty-three hours later.
Then I will be greeted by the children and staff of St. Mary Kevin Orphanage Motherhood. Something I’ve been waiting for all year long.

as i left you at the airport today, i couldn't help but think about my dad and our moms and how much i wish they were here to take in what you've accomplished. they would be so very proud. travel safe, my dear. i look forward to reading about your incredible journey and to your safe return to my arms. my love will be with you always.
